Yesterday was just so overwhelming.
I made the move from Newcastle to London in the morning. Normally, I can’t wait to get away, but it was a lot harder than usual.
Then I went to Promise of Redemption at The Black Heart and as soon as I walked in with so many familiar faces, I knew I was back home.
Shane’s When The Flowers Bloom is probably in my top 3 albums of all time, so getting to see him again with some of the people I care most about was just perfect. The saddest songs were made the happiest. :)
OH, AND SAM LITTLE COVERED WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL AND CALL ME MAYBE AND KEEP ON MOVIN’.
Best show! Big ups to Chris for putting it on!
Grieves and Brother Ali were sick on Thursday. Seriously, don’t think I’ve seen a more inspiring person live than Brother Ali. I need to go to more UGHH shows!
Tomorrow. All that matters.
Got my contract for MTV. I start on May 21st. Four months working on Geordie Shore.
This is happening!
If anyone knows of any rooms going in London, holla!
I got a job at MTV.
I initially applied for a general marketing internship, I got to the final three, didn’t get it… But they were apparently really impressed with my ideas and offered me a proper marketing job to work on the new series of Geordie Shore: Chaos In Cancun for the next four months instead!!!
I think I’ll be starting May 14th. I’m just so stoked to move back to London!
P.S. If anyone knows of any rooms going in London, let me know!
Life drastically improved today. Discovered that an awesome oriental supermarket in Newcastle called HiYou does bubble tea! £2.95, 65p cheaper than Cafe De Hong Kong in London, no extra charge to eat/drink in, and tastes just as good! I got taro. :)
I went down to London for an interview, it pretty much sucked. I was supposed to go to La Dispute, but I was so bummed out and their setlist hasn’t been great, so I sacked it off, and ate ALL the Chinese food (chips, spring rolls, and prawn crackers not pictured!) at Leigh and Chris’, then watched wrestling. :)
Then, today, I somehow ended up in a casino with Tom and Jay.
BEST LADS.
